Alo is a contemporary French restaurant located atop a heritage building at the edge of Toronto’s Chinatown area. Our dining room offers blind, multi-course tasting menus that highlight the finest in seasonal ingredients, while our adjacent barroom features classically-inspired cocktails and a concise à la carte menu. Since opening in 2015, Alo has been regarded as one of Canada’s most essential restaurants.
With Aloette in 2017, we took our best shot at the neighbourhood restaurant. Situated two floors below Alo and set along Spadina Avenue like a train’s dining car, it’s where our taste for haute cuisine meets cravings for cheeseburgers, lemon meringue and hot coffee. Aloette is open daily for both lunch and dinner.
Alobar, which opened in 2018, is tucked along a pathway in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. It presents itself as a cocktail bar, but is, in fact, a full-fledged restaurant: offering choice raw items, seafood and steaks off the charcoal, and world-class wines. All paired with a warm sense of welcome. In clement seasons, our doors open onto a tranquil courtyard patio.
Salon, our first space devoted to private dining, will open in 2019. An intimate room that’s conveniently located in Yorkville, it will offer multi-course dinners in the style of Alo. Both the room and the fare will also be able to accommodate cocktail receptions, celebrations, corporate events and meetings.
