Alo is a Michelin starred contemporary French restaurant located atop a heritage building in downtown Toronto. Our dining room offers blind, multi-course tasting menus that highlight the finest in seasonal ingredients, while our adjacent barroom features classically-inspired cocktails and a shortened tasting menu which is also available à la carte. Alo's private dining room, situated one floor below in the same heritage building, is a unique space that is often enjoyed for family celebrations, milestone occasions, birthdays, and business dinners. Since opening in 2015, Alo has been regarded as one of Canada’s most essential restaurants.
With Michelin recommended Aloette opening in 2017, we took our best shot at the neighbourhood restaurant. Situated two floors below Alo and set along Spadina Avenue like a train’s dining car, it’s where our taste for haute cuisine meets cravings for cheeseburgers, and lemon meringue. Aloette is open daily for both lunch and dinner.
Alobar Yorkville, which opened in 2018, is tucked along a pathway in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. It presents itself as a cocktail bar, but is, in fact, a full-fledged Michelin recommended restaurant. Alobar Yorkville offers choice raw items, seafood and steaks off the charcoal, and world-class wines... all paired with a warm sense of welcome. In clement seasons, our doors open onto a tranquil courtyard patio.
Alobar Downtown opened 2023 and is nestled in the heart of Toronto's bustling Financial District. Alobar Downtown offers revelry in the bar and lounge, and warmth in the dining room - both featuring menus from Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss. World class wines are displayed as a centrepiece to pair with choice seafood, grilled fish and prime chops. Alobar Downtown's patio is a comfortable oasis amid the buzzing streets of Toronto's core.
Aloette Bay opened in 2024 and is conveniently situated just steps from Union Station, Scotiabank Arena, and the heart of downtown Toronto. Salon, our first space solely devoted to private dining, opened in 2019. An intimate room that’s conveniently located in Yorkville, experiences with Salon are customisable and include multi-course tasting menus in the style of Alo for up to 34 guests. Salon also hosts weddings and celebrations, cocktail receptions, brand activations, corporate events and more.
Alder opened in 2022 as the flagship restaurant within Canada’s first Ace Hotel outpost. Boasting soaring ceilings and a wood-fire oven, the glow of the open kitchen wraps the dining room in warmth. For the menu, Chef Patrick Kriss draws inspiration from traditions and techniques long-practiced in and around the Mediterranean – spanning Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Morocco. Alder has been recommended by the Michelin guide since 2023.
Aloette Go launched its inaugural location in 2021 in Toronto’s Liberty Village. Its second outpost followed in 2023 at Yonge and Eglinton, with the third opening at CIBC SQUARE’s fourth floor in 2024.
